🧪 We’re Hiring: Senior Software Quality Engineer
📍 Location: Egypt (Hybrid – Cairo Office)

Patexs is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, automation, and ensuring high standards across software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement quality assurance strategies for web and mobile applications

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality from early stages

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test data

• Participate in release cycles, regression testing, and UAT support

• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality / QA Engineer

• Strong experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)

• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration

• Performance testing experience (JMeter or similar tools)

• ISTQB certification

• Experience in SaaS or enterprise systems
