PateXs is hiring: Senior Project Manager.

PateXs is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Agile expertise to lead complex software development projects and drive successful delivery across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful execution and delivery of software development projects

• Track project performance, costs, and timelines against the project plan and take corrective actions when necessary

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams and ensure delivery of all required project deliverables

• Manage project scope, change control processes, and configuration management

• Provide regular project status reports and maintain clear communication with stakeholders

• Ensure adoption of technical and quality strategies to achieve customer satisfaction

• Conduct project closure activities, including end-of-project evaluation and reporting

• Identify project risks and mitigation plans, and proactively manage scope changes

• Plan and track project milestones and timelines using appropriate project management tools

Agile / Scrum Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Ensure proper implementation of the Scrum framework and remove team impediments

• Work closely with Product Owners to manage roadmaps, backlogs, and new requests

• Monitor and maintain Scrum KPIs including velocity, WIP, story points, and sprint progress

• Ensure accuracy of project data in Agile management tools and maintain sprint documentation and release notes

• Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and coach them toward higher Agile adoption

• Promote Agile best practices and values across the team and organization

• Improve communication transparency between teams and stakeholders

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and recommend process enhancements

Requirements:

• 15+ years of total experience, including 10+ years as a Project Manager in a software development environment

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• PMP certification from PMI is required

• Strong experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall

• Hands-on Agile project management experience is mandatory

• Proven experience managing multiple programs or project tracks, preferably in the Middle East region

• Experience working on the client side is preferred

• Strong expertise in budget planning and project financial management

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills

• Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluent English communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platform.

Nice to Have:

• Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent

• Experience leading large enterprise software projects

• Experience in Agile transformation or process improvement initiatives
