We’re Hiring: DevSecOps Engineer

PateXs is looking for a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our engineering team. If you are passionate about integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle and building secure, scalable cloud environments, we would love to hear from you.

You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the successful delivery of secure and reliable software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Perform security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and remediation in collaboration with development teams

• Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Implement continuous monitoring, auditing, and logging for critical systems

• Develop and maintain secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve application and infrastructure security

• Support the adoption of DevSecOps best practices across projects

• Create and maintain technical documentation for security processes and DevOps pipelines

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles

• Strong scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker & Kubernetes)

• Solid understanding of security tools and practices

Security & Monitoring Experience:

• Experience with SAST / DAST security tools (SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, or similar)

• Knowledge of dependency and vulnerability scanning tools (Snyk, Trivy, Prisma, etc.)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)

• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, API security, and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
